FAQ
What is the Client Production System?
Prior to filming, or editing something, we ask our clients to fill out a "Pre-Shoot Checklist". This checklist allows us to capture your vision on point, and helps us to provide a superior product. This form is sent prior to filming. If a client is unsure about what to fill out on this form, a ProWerks team member can provide assistance between normal business hours.
What is the Post Production Process like?
After a project is filmed, ProWerks will edit your content. Our company works on an hourly basis, your ProWerks Producer will establish an estimate based on your project's needs. We welcome you to sit in the edit room. Or take a hands off approach and let us get the rough cut ready for you. Your price will include one round of revisions, a e-mail proof of the video before finalizing and media delivery (see Deliverable below). Any additional revisions outside of your original estimate, and first round revisions will be billed at our hourly editing rate thereafter. Motion graphics and animated items may be billed separately from the original editing price. Please contact us for more details.
How will ProWerks deliver my final project?
ProWerks can deliver final videos, ads, and commercial spots in multiple formats. Your ProWerks Producer will establish an estimate based on your project's needs. Here is how we deliver media: Tape stock (raw tapes, final piece on Beta SP, DV Cam, Mini DV, HDCAM), Hard drive (final media files transferred to hard drive), DVD or Blue-Ray (playable DVD), Data DVD, CD-R or Blue-ray Disk (final media files on a data disk)
What are the details in scheduling a shoot?
ProWerks asks for clients to request shoots no less than 5 business days prior to filming. We can make exceptions to this rule, but please note that we may not always be able to accommodate customers on short notice. If ProWerks is required to film at multiple locations requiring production staff, production vehicles and camera crews to travel to other locations in the same day, a fee of $100 will be applied to each location outside of the original location.
What about fees, deposits and cancellations?
Deposits:
Our company requires 50% of the total production cost prior to providing a service. This deposit should be made 5-7 days prior to services being rendered. If a deposit cannot be made, a valid credit card must be on file in order to book your production, and or service. Please note that deposits will be returned to the client if the project is cancelled. However a cancellation fee may be deducted from your deposit if applicable.
Cancellations and Fees:
Once a production date/time has been booked, customers have a 48 hour window to cancel, change or modify the scheduled date/time. If a change or cancellation is not made in that time frame, a fee of $100 will be applied to your account or withheld from your original deposit. All additional cost such as special equipment rentals, booked talent, etc. will also be applied to your account or withheld from your original deposit.
Does ProWerks travel outside of Las Vegas?
Yes we do. Any productions in which require ProWerks to travel outside of the Clark County-Nevada area will be subject to per diem and travel costs.
